V. W. (Bill) Barge III, Chairman

Tyler Bradford, President
Mr. Barge is a Licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and founder of Barge Properties Management Co., Ltd. His responsibilities include property acquisition, management oversight and financing for income properties and land development. Mr. Barge’s experience includes co-founding Charter Management Co., Texas’ largest property management firm. He has developed 15 subdivisions and the company currently manages over 2,000 multifamily units and 125,000 square feet of storage space. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Tyler is a Licensed Texas Real Estate Agent and Certified Property Manager Candidate through the Institute of Real Estate Management. He was named President of Barge Properties in 2021. His current responsibilities include multifamily portfolio management, land development, financial analysis, and insurance/risk management. He holds a Business Foundations Certificate and a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.

Lee-Ann Burdette, Operations Manager

Kathy VanEaton, Regional Manager
Lee-Ann has been with Barge Properties since 2003. She has more than 25 years in property management experience and is currently Operations Manager for the multifamily portfolio. Lee-Ann has experience supervising apartment units, implementing training programs, and monitoring all office and maintenance staff. Her certifications include (NALP) National Apartment Leasing Professional and (CAM) Certified Apartment Manager along with numerous hours of Legal Seminars and training courses related to the multifamily industry.
Kathy has been employed with Barge Properties since 2012. She has been in the Apartment Industry for over 30 years and although she is a “Hands-On” Manager, she has previously been recognized as a Top Performer in net income generation and has received a "Chairman’s Four-Star Award”. Kathy has her certificates (to name a few) in HVAC, Preventative Maintenance, EPA Regulatory Compliance, OSHA Blood-borne Pathogens, training in Fair Housing, Marketing for Success and Increasing Rents.

Lu Ann Popelka, Controller
Lu Ann Popelka is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in Management. She has over 30 years in the accounting field. Her background includes residential, commercial and specialty construction as well as other industries. She joined Barge Properties in 2006. Her duties include cash management; financial reporting and due diligence for acquisitions, disposals and refinancing; property tax appeals; audits; and tax returns.

Sherry Davila, Accounting Manager
Sherry (Young) Davila joined Barge Properties in July of 2010. She graduated from Illinois Central College after studying accounting. She has 20 years of accounting experience and is currently responsible for daily accounting functions as well as, financial reporting, human resources and special projects.

Laura is a Licensed Texas Real Estate Agent and member of the Institute for Real Estate Management. She holds a Ph.D. in physics from Baylor University.
Laura B. Barge, Ph.D., Vice Chair
Jayne Love, Accountant
Jayne is a native of Temple and has been with Barge Properties since 2007. She began in the accounts payable department. Later she added payroll to her list of responsibilities. In 2010 Jayne transferred to our Waco self-storage location as manager, where she out-performed all previous managers. In 2021, Jayne was asked to come back to the Accounting department to help with the growing accounts payable workload.
